The Prayer Group format is as follows:
 
     Opening Prayer: written or extemporaneous prayer
     Centering activity: to be more open to God's purpose, presence and power
     Sharing session: Where have you seen God this week?
     Offering of Prayer Concerns: a prayer for the group, each member then offers prayers for concerns or assigned roles:
     events in the church, specials concerns of parishioners or members of the community, local and world events.
     Closing: The Lord's Prayer
